South Florida State College is concerned about the health and safety of our patrons, volunteers, and artists who attend performances and events at the Alan Jay Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts and the University Center Theater. Given the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all external performances through December 2020.
SFSC Performing Arts staff will continue to monitor and evaluate all state and CDC social distancing guidelines. It is our intention to offer performances in our venues beginning October 10, 2021 with new procedures for the health and safety of our patrons, volunteers, performers, and staff. We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times.
Since 1984 when SFSC first offered live performances, the community has supported us and enjoyed the many cultural offerings presented on our stages. While our traditional season may look different in 2020–2021, we are working behind the scenes to bring you inspiring performances and to continue our role as the No. 1 entertainment venue in the Heartland.
We encourage you to sign up for our mailing list at sfscarts.org/mailing-list so that you receive important updates from us. Stay in touch with us through social media at
facebook.com/sfscarts.
Remember, this is only intermission. What happens at the end of intermission? The show goes on! We look forward to welcoming new and old friends back into our theaters.
Respectfully yours,
Cindy Garren
Director, SFSC Cultural Programs
