What better way to kick off the holiday season than to spend it with Doug Andrews and his musical friends December 12 at the South Florida State College University Center Auditorium at 7 pm. No stranger to performing at, or booking talent for South Florida State College, Doug Andrews has assembled a group of talented musicians and singers to usher in the Holiday Season with a wide variety of seasonal favorites that will delight area residents and usher in the Holiday Season.
Providing instrumental accompaniment will be Doug (keys), Manny Patino (bass) and Louie Nagy (drums). Featured singers will be Charlie Redd (Orlando), Nelly Ford (Sebring) and Jason Robbs (Lakeland).
A special finale to the concert will feature an outstanding vocal quartet who will join the festivities performing two of Doug’s published arrangements of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town. Quartet members include: Joy Loomis (soprano), Tracy Schuknect (alto), David Radford (tenor) and Brian Hendrickson (bass).
